Assessment Methodology

Understanding the academic foundation behind our leadership assessment

Academic Foundation
Our leadership assessment is built on rigorous academic research, established leadership theories, and cutting-edge transformative leadership research that goes beyond traditional models

Theoretical Framework

The Transformetic Leadership Assessment Framework measures leadership across ten core domains, drawing from complexity leadership theory, systems thinking frameworks, servant leadership research, democratic leadership principles, transformational leadership studies, and transformative leadership research. This comprehensive approach helps leaders understand their current orientation and provides a pathway toward transformative leadership mastery.

Scoring Methodology

Transactional (1-3.5)

Focus on efficiency, control, and maintenance of existing systems

Transformational (3.6-7.0)

Focus on inspiration, growth, vision, and people development

Transformative (7.1-10)

Focus on systems change, justice, emergence, paradigm shifts, and regenerative impact that serves life and future generations

Assessment Domains

Each of the ten domains consists of carefully crafted questions designed to measure your leadership orientation across the transactional-transformational-transformative spectrum. The questions are grounded in established research and validated leadership theories, with particular emphasis on transformative leadership practices that create systemic change and serve the greater good.

Transformative Leadership Focus

While many assessments stop at transformational leadership, our framework extends into transformative leadership territory—a paradigm that emphasizes systemic change, regenerative practices, and justice-oriented outcomes. Transformative leaders don't just inspire change; they facilitate the emergence of entirely new systems that serve life and create conditions for collective flourishing.

This approach draws from complexity science, regenerative leadership research, and indigenous wisdom traditions that understand leadership as stewardship of the whole system rather than just organizational performance.
